Francisco Pérez combines a solid academic and business background with a deep dedication to philately. D. in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi, professor at INCAE, entrepreneur and international consultant, today he applies his strategic vision as founder of Filateca and as current editor of Timbre Magazine.

As a collector, he is a recognized specialist in postal history, with collections focused on Costa Rica and Panama. His research work includes the publication of articles on military censorship and other historical topics, a trajectory that has led him to serve as a FIP judge in multiple international exhibitions.

Under his editorial leadership, he promotes the digital transformation of Costa Rican philately, seeking to preserve tradition and academic rigor through technological innovation.
