In the framework of World Philatelist Day, Correos de Costa Rica honors the outstanding career of Mr. Alvaro Castro-Harrigan, a national and international reference in the field of philately, by issuing a commemorative postmark and a postcard with his image.
This tribute, held May 5-9, 2025, recognizes Castro-Harrigan's dedication to the study and promotion of postal history. His passion and commitment have been instrumental in placing Costa Rica on the world philatelic map.
