About Timbre
Timbre is the reference magazine of the Costa Rican Revenue & Postage Society and, for several years, one of the main spaces for the dissemination of studies, findings and chronicles on Costa Rican philately.
Starting with its 47th issue, Timbre begins a new era as a native digital publication. This evolution responds to the need to expand its scope and guarantee its permanence over time, taking advantage of the benefits of the web environment: high resolution images, enriched content and a reading experience accessible from anywhere in the world.
Under the editorship of Francisco Pérez, the magazine reaffirms its commitment to academic rigor and postal history, projecting itself into the future of collecting. To materialize this leap, Timbre relies on the technological infrastructure of Filateca, the platform that facilitates its digitization and allows us to disseminate our philatelic heritage from a contemporary perspective.
